Middle of day 7
It's about 5pm right now. We're hanging out at the gym waiting for a 6pm training session. We leave 11am tomorrow, LAX to Denver to Frankfurt to Antalya. We arrive 11pm local time on WEDNESDAY. Holy crap. I have lots of snacks, books, and ways to pester Matt all packed up so the trip will go quickly.
More tonight or tomorrow, maybe. I'm not gonna bring my computer, but I am bringing my USB drive in the hopes that we'll find an internet cafe or something. And I'm also bringing my analog friend, the notebook. So I might not post for a while, but I will be writing like crazy and taking lots and lots of pics.
BTW, have I mentioned how freaking HOT it is? And it's worse in Turkey. Oy vey.

If you get this before you leave/compete, I just wanted to say good luck (I left you a voicemail too.)! Go kick some international ass! It's an honor knowing and training with you.
You know what? You are about it in terms of reporting on the first FILA submission grappling event. If you weren't posting here, probably none of us would know what it's like. Keep up the good work!
